Even though I always loved plants and being surrounded by nature, I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. After completing a Master of Science Degree in Sociology in 2006, I worked with vulnerable populations for over a decade.

As an adult, I found that working on my yard brought back happy memories. It felt great to feel the earth in my hands again and to create something beautiful with plants, mulch, and rocks. As an adult, I found that working on my yard brought back happy memories. It felt great to feel the earth in my hands again and to create something beautiful with plants, mulch, and rocks. As my interest in landscaping and creating outdoor art grew, I decided it was time to give back to the community in a different way. A few months later, I enrolled in a landscape design course and received my landscape design certification in March of 2016. Just a short time later, CJ's Landscape Design was born.
