City of Pflugerville Rebate Programs
Pflourishing flora
The Pflourishing Flora program is for transforming your existing residential landscape to one that requires little to no irrigation. Specifically, the rebate provides $100 for every 100 square feet of a grass lawn removed ("turfgrass"). The turfgrass must be replaced with drought-tolerant plant beds, and any associated in-ground irrigation systems must be removed or capped off.
Flip This Yard
This rebate is awarded to residential customers following the complete or partial removal of in-ground irrigation systems.
Program Details
Customers may apply once per calendar year for the Pflip This Yard rebate until the lifetime limit of $1000 is met. Customers are eligible for this rebate when:
- Disabling an entire in-ground irrigation system via the removal of the backflow device, backflow box, all visible zone valves and boxes, and the system controller. Any connection to the customer's service line must be removed and appropriately capped.
- Permanently capping of an entire irrigation zone via the removal and capping of an existing zone valve and box. All visible sprinkler heads must be removed. The zone area must have been converted to an area that no longer requires regular irrigation, such as native plant beds or hardscape.
- $75 per irrigation zone disabled.
- $1,000 for disabling the entire irrigation system

City of Round Rock Rebate Programs

Irrigation Rebates
Outdoor watering accounts for 60-70% of the City’s total water use in the summer! By making irrigation systems more efficient, we can reduce water use and water waste and improve the health of landscapes.
The City of Round Rock and the LCRA both offer irrigation efficiency programs that Round Rock residents can apply for. Depending on your water provider, you may be able to apply for both programs.
- City rebates are available to residents who receive a water bill directly from the City of Round Rock.
- LCRA rebates are available to ALL Round Rock residents.
Residential
City Program (must be a direct City water customer to apply)
- Available to all customers with existing irrigation systems, not for new installations or additions.
- Rebates provided on Water Sense controllers, pressure reducing equipment, converting areas to drip, weather sensors (rain, freeze, or soil), decommissioning the system and more.
- Property must have a working rain sensor at each controller. New sensors are eligible for rebate.
- Rebate is up to $500 per residential account.
LCRA Program (available to all qualifying Round Rock residents)
- Rebates for
- soil moisture and rain sensors
- hose-end timers
- pressure reducing valves, heads, and nozzles
- WaterSense labeled controllers
